In late January, the Rural Ontario Municipal Association ( ROMA ) had their first in-person session with municipal leaders since the pandemic.
Among the delegations on hand was the town of Saugeen Shores including Mayor Luke Charbonneau.
Mayor Charbonneau was a guest on ” Home Base ” with Brandon Vanderschot and he related the face-to-face with provincial ministers was valuable.

With new school, an aquatic centre and a pocket of aging citizens, Mayor Charbonneau admits they need to be able to cater to wide range of demographics in the community.
