Hanover Police say they arrested two male suspects at gun point Sunday night.
Town Police Chief Christopher Knoll says on social media the arrest happened after an officer on patrol observed the suspects “acting suspiciously behind a commercial building.”
Knoll says the suspects refused to comply with police commands, and both were eventually taken into custody.
His social media account of the arrests doesn’t include details about what led the police officers to draw their firearms.
Knoll says one suspect has been released, while the second male remains in custody for obstructing justice, along with outstanding arrest warrants from Hanover Police and Grey Bruce OPP.
“This (second) suspect has been identified through investigation but refuses to acknowledge his name, address or (date of birth),” Knoll says on Twitter.
