A familiar activity returns Saturday at the Parkin Farm east of Owen Sound.
The Parkin Family & Owen Sound Harvest for Hunger is staging “Fall Day at the Farm” from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m.
Heather Parkin relates admission to the event is free, however, there are a number of fundraising initiatives that support various campaigns for Canadian Foodgrains.
Canadian Foodgrains helps to feed the less fortunate in the world and also undertakes to educate people in challenged countries about how to grow their own food.
The Parkin Farm is located on Grey Road 11 between Highway 26 & the Derry Line
