Author, journalist and former CBC Radio host of As It Happens Carol Off will be in Meaford in this weekend.
Meaford Hall, the Meaford Public Library, Friends of the Meaford Public Library and Random House Canada are presenting Carol Off in Conversation with Christopher Thomas.
She will be talking about her latest book that just came out, True Patriot Love: Reporting From the Frontlines of Canadian Sovereignty.
It’s set to go November 9th.
Community Outreach Coordinator for the Meaford Public Library Amy Solecki says Off’s latest book is, “A passionate and sweeping examination of who we are as Canadians, where we are going and why Canada is becoming a beacon of hope at this time.”
It’s a ticket event, and each purchase includes a signed copy of True Patriot Love. A portion of the proceeds will be donated to the Meaford Public Library.
Off has written numerous books, including The Lion, The Fox and The Eagle: A Story of Generals and Justice in Rwanda and Yugoslavia, The Ghosts of Medak Pocket: The Story of Canada’s Secret War, and At a Loss for Words: Conversation in an Age of Rage.
