Site preparation is beginning this week for a new crosswalk across Albert Street South (Highway 21) in Southampton.
It will be at the intersection of the highway and Adelaide Street near Subway and Rexall.
The Town says work will generally occur between 7 a.m. and 7 p.m. over two to three weeks.
Temporary closures of Adelaide St and temporary lane restrictions on Albert St S (Hwy 21) may be required at times.
There may be temporary sidewalk closures during active work periods.
The Town says to expect occasional delays when travelling through the area and follow all posted traffic control measures.
