South Bruce OPP stopped a driver for stunt driving during proactive patrols in South Bruce.
On Oct. 9 at about 9:30 a.m., South Bruce OPP members were conducting proactive patrols along Bruce Road 4 in the Municipality of South Bruce when a vehicle was observed travelling at more than 144 km/h in an 80 km/h zone.
The vehicle was stopped and the driver, a 33-year-old from Kitchener, was charged with stunt driving and speeding 50 km/h or more over the posted limit.
A 30-day administrative driver’s licence suspension and a 14-day vehicle impoundment were initiated, and the driver was given a court date.
