No one was hurt in a house fire in Neustadt last night.
West Grey firefighters responded to a blaze on David Winkler Parkway around 8:45 p.m. Sunday evening.
A fire department official says a deck was heavily damaged in a fire, which was believed to have been caused by an outdoor propane barbecue.
The home also suffered smoke damage.
Three people were inside the home at the time of the fire and escaped unharmed.
West Grey firefighters were on scene until around 1 a.m., and returned later this morning to check for hot spots.
The investigation into the blaze is ongoing.
