The Owen Sound Attack have acquired another goaltender.
Owen Sound’s Ontario Hockey League team announced Friday afternoon it completed a trade with the Brantford Bulldogs, adding goalie Maksim Corovic in exchange for three 2028 OHL Priority Selection picks.
Corovic, 18, was a fifth-round pick of the Bulldogs in the 2024 OHL Priority Selection.
The Stoney Creek, Ont., native spent the 2025-26 season with the Ontario Junior Hockey League’s Collingwood Blues, posting a 1.66 goals against average and .942 save percentage in 20 games.
“Adding Maksim is an important move for our organization and, specifically, for our current depth and for the future of our goaltending pipeline,” Attack President and General Manager Tyler Nother says in a team release. “Maksim is attending NHL camp with Seattle and fits in perfectly with what we are building in Owen Sound. He has all the tools to be an impactful goaltender in our league now and for the next few seasons. We are excited to welcome Maksim and the Corovic family to the Owen Sound Attack organization.”
The three picks the Attack are sending to Brantford in the 2028 OHL Priority Selection are Sarnia’s third-rounder, London’s fourth, and Oshawa’s fifth-rounder.
The Attack have two other goaltenders currently on their preseason roster: offseason addition and overage netminder Ryerson Leenders, and 19-year-old Matthew Koprowski.
The team did not announce any additional moves in the crease, but a team statement says Corovic “will join the club in Owen Sound” after he is reassigned from Seattle Kraken camp.
