Saugeen First Nation is set to host an all-candidates meeting this weekend.
Voters in the First Nation community will head to the polls to choose their next chief and council next Friday, Aug. 28.
An advisory from Saugeen First Nation says Saturday’s event all-candidates event begins with a community barbecue at noon outside the governance building. A candidate forum and question and answer session will follow inside council chambers.
Conrad Ritchie, Lester Anoquot, Natalka Pucan and Sonya Roote are the four candidates for Saugeen First Nation Chief in the upcoming election.
There are dozens of candidates vying for one of nine seats on council.
