Residents of Georgian Bluffs can expect upcoming work to replace electricity meters in the community.
Hydro One says that the work will be happening in the coming weeks.
The electricity company also says that their contractor, Honeywell, will be helping with the installation, and that there will be no cost to residents.
Hydro One will contact customers directly prior to their meter replacement.
Hydro One says on their website that the updated meters are the first step toward preparing an increased demand for electricity, and that they will place a crucial role in ensuring a consistent, dependable supply.
