The TC Transcontinental Owen Sound Girls U11 Field Lacrosse North Stars travelled to Kitchener-Waterloo this weekend to compete at the Provincial Championships, and played against the Mimico Mountaineers 1. The girls came up short on the scoreboard, even after strong fourth-quarter, finishing with a hard-fought 15–11 loss.
Dani Adair led the offence with four goals, while Piper Coburn added three. Lily Barnard, Emily Gladwell, Ennah Taverner, and Tae Wilson each found the back of the net once.
This season has been incredible to watch, as the team has grown not only in their lacrosse skills and game awareness, but also in the friendships they’ve built on and off the field. Their dedication, teamwork, and determination have been evident every step of the way.
We couldn’t be prouder of this group of athletes and all they have accomplished this season. Go North Stars!
