The eighth annual Grey Bruce Pride parade will take place in downtown Owen Sound this Saturday.
The parade runs from 3 to 11 p.m. and will travel south along Second Avenue East from 10th Street East to 8th Street East in front of city hall.
The block party begins right after the parade on 9th Street East, which will be closed in the 200 block.
The event is free to attend and family-friendly, and it will feature more than 30 community parade groups and more than 40 vendors.
This will include a food truck, two licensed patios, activities for all ages, a community tent, speed-friending opportunities, live entertainment and a nighttime glow party.
A fundraiser, Rainbow Roulette, will invite the community to spin the wheel and test the courage of the Pride parade’s chair with mystery hot sauces ranging from mild to wildly spicy.
