Provincial Police are appealing for tips to help identify a suspect after a series of thefts from vehicles just outside of Owen Sound earlier this week.
Grey Bruce OPP say they received multiple reports of unlocked vehicles being entered and property stolen sometime overnight between Sunday and Monday in the area of Grey Road 5 near Concession Road 3 — just south of Owen Sound — in Georgian Bluffs.
“The main items stolen during these thefts were credit/debit cards, cash and identification cards. After these thefts were completed, the suspect used the stolen cards at local business nearby,” Grey Bruce OPP say in a release.
Police have released images of a male suspect they believe is connected to these alleged thefts.
They’re also asking residents in the affected area to review any available security footage.
“Even small details may assist police,” the OPP say.
