The municipality of Kincardine is reminding residents about vehicle loads during the spring.
From March 1st to April 30th, the municipality restricts vehicles to a maximum of 5 tonnes per axle.
Half-load restrictions are now in effect, the municipality expects enforcement to be followed.
The areas restricted are:
- North Street (year-round)
- All Concession and sideroads throughout the Municipality, except Concession 2 from Highway 21 to its westerly limit
The municipality wants to remind people that failure to comply with these restrictions, may be subjected to prosecution under Section 122 of The Highway Traffic Act.
