Bruce County has once again been recognized as one of Southwestern Ontario’s Top Employers, marking the second consecutive year the municipality has earned the honour.
The annual competition highlights organizations that lead their industries in creating exceptional workplaces, evaluating factors such as work environment, employee benefits, professional development opportunities, and community involvement.
Bruce County stood out for several key initiatives in 2026, including enhanced pregnancy, parental and adoption leave top-ups, a defined benefit pension plan, and strong workplace mental health programs supported by employee assistance resources.
County officials say the recognition reflects their ongoing commitment to fostering a positive, innovative, and supportive workplace culture.
The achievement also aligns with the county’s Strategic Plan, which includes strengthening organizational culture and capacity as a key priority.
A full list of winners and additional details about this year’s selection are available through the Canada’s Top 100 Employers program.
