Residents considering running in the 2026 Municipal and School Board elections—or registering as a third-party advertiser—are invited to attend an upcoming information session in Grey County.
The Candidate and Third Party Advertiser Information Session will take place on Wednesday, April 22, 2026, from 6:00 p.m. to 9:00 p.m. at the Grey County Council Chambers, located at 595 9th Avenue East in Owen Sound.
The session is free and open to all Grey County residents. It will feature presentations from the Ministry of Municipal Affairs and Housing, election and legislative procedure experts known as Clerks on Call, and the Grey County Chief Administrative Officer.
Staff from local municipalities will also be available to answer questions and provide additional information about the nomination and election process.
Participants can attend either in person or virtually, but must register in advance through their municipality’s website or by visiting grey.ca/election-info-session.
