The Town of South Bruce Peninsula is hosting a design open house for the next phase of the reconstruction of Wiarton’s Berford Street.
Work is planned from George Street to Elm Street, in the south end of downtown.
The proposed improvements for this project are:
- Replacement of underground watermain, sanitary sewer, and storm sewer infrastructure
- Full road reconstruction, including new pavement
- Installation of new sidewalks to enhance pedestrian safety and accessibility
- Upgraded streetlighting, as well as the traffic signal system at the Frank Street intersection

The event is scheduled to take place at Town Hall in Wiarton on Tuesday, April 7th, between 2:00 p.m. and 4 p.m., and another session from 6:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m.
