Provincial Police have charged one person after a disturbance in Mount Forest.
OPP officers were called to the incident at a residence on King Street East in Mount Forest at about 3:45 p.m. Sunday afternoon.
Police say their investigation resulted in a 34-year-old from Mount Forest being arrested and charged with two counts of uttering threats.
The OPP allege the accused became aggressive while in custody, and was further charged with mischief and assault a peace officer.
Police did not release any other details about the allegations, and did not identify the accused.
“The accused’s name is being withheld, out of concern for their well being,” OPP say in a release.
