Grey Bruce OPP have charged a Dundalk resident following an impaired driving investigation in the Township of Southgate.
Police say officers were called to Werry Avenue in Dundalk shortly before 3 a.m. on February 21, 2026, after a concerned citizen reported a vehicle stopped in the middle of the road with a person asleep behind the wheel. The vehicle left the area before officers arrived but was located a short time later in a nearby business parking lot.
As a result of the investigation, 41-year-old Brandon Crilly of Dundalk has been charged with operation while impaired and operation while impaired with a blood alcohol concentration over 80 milligrams.
The accused received a 90-day administrative driver’s licence suspension and a seven-day vehicle impoundment. He is scheduled to appear before the Ontario Court of Justice in Owen Sound on April 2, 2026.
