Matthew Koprowski made 29 saves for his Ontario Hockey League shutout as the Owen Sound Attack blanked the Brampton Steelheads 5-0 Saturday night at the Harry Lumley Bayshore Community Centre to end their eight-game slide.
Pierce Mbuyi, Harry Nansi, John Banks, Cole Zurawski and Wesley Royston scored for the Attack (21-29-2-5). Owen Sound jumped out to a 3-0 lead in the second period and never looked back.
Brampton (15-31-6-3) lost its eighth in a row.
Next up for the Attack is a home game Wednesday at the Bayshore against Oshawa Generals.
