The Bruce Peninsula Sportsmen’s Association won’t be holding it’s annual Family Day Open House this year.
Instead, organizers say the event will be held later during warmer weather and will feature hatchery tours, shooting sports demonstrations, youth programs like archery and tree planting, along with free snacks.
The association has been active in Grey-Bruce since the 1960s and is best known for conservation work, including stocking more than four-million trout and salmon in Georgian Bay.
The group’s next regular meeting is set for February 26th at the clubhouse on Northacres Road near Wiarton, with guests welcome to attend.
