The South Bruce Grey Health Centre is expanding its outpatient services at the Durham Hospital.
Starting this month, services including a cardiology clinic supported by doctors from the London Health Sciences Centre, and pediatric mental health services from Keystone Child Youth and Family Services will be offered at the Durham Hospital.
A hip and knee replacement clinic for both pre and post operation will also come to the hospital in January.
SBGHC President and CEO Nancy Shaw says they are thrilled to be able to support the delivery of these specialized services, minimizing travel for patients and families.
“There is a very high demand for all of these services in our area, so this will be a welcome addition not only for the Durham site, but for the entire region,” says Shaw.
