Two people are facing charges after a drug investigation by OPP.
At around 5 am on Wednesday, the Grey-Bruce Community Street Crime Unit carried out two search warrants in Kincardine and Huron-Kinloss.
Local OPP had the help of Wellington, Huron-Perth, Brant-Oxford, Middlesex, and Lambton County CSCU members.
As a result of the searches, police seized a quantity of suspected illicit drugs, including 46 grams methamphetamine, 7 grams cocaine, 22 grams of ecstasy/MDMA, and 11 grams of psilocybin.
Officers also seized a small amount of cash, and firearm ammunition.
A 47-year-old man from Kincardine is charged with five counts of possession for the purpose of trafficking, three counts of possession of a firearm, and failure to comply with an undertaking.
A 19-years-old from Kincardine is also charged with three counts of failure to comply with a release order.
The accused was held for a bail hearing and later released with a court date in Walkerton for October 31st.
A third person was arrested with a warrant from Hanover Police Service, and was returned to their custody.
