South Bruce OPP are investigating an arson that happened in the municipality of Arran-Elderslie.
At around 5:15 this morning, police and Arran-Elderslie Fire & Emergency Services responded to an active structure at a residence in Burgoyne.
Officers determined that the blaze was intentionally set by a person who was still at the scene. That person was then taken into custody without incident.
The South Bruce OPP Crime Unit is now investigating the incident as an arson, and updates will be given once they become available.
