Provincial Police have charged three people after recovering a stolen vehicle in Dundalk.
Grey Bruce OPP say officers were conducting a routine patrol in a fast food restaurant’s parking lot just after midnight Wednesday, when they spotted an SUV without licence plates.
OPP officers determined the vehicle had been reported stolen from Peel Region two days ago.
“All three occupants were placed under arrest without incident,” Grey Bruce OPP say in a release.
A 31-year-old Milton man was charged with several offences, including possession of a weapon for a dangerous purpose and multiple counts of possession of property obtained by crime. Two others — from Milton and Brantford — were charged with one criminal offence each in relation to the alleged stolen vehicle.
All three accused were released from custody, and are due to appear in court next month to answer to the charges.
