There’s been some progress on the reconstruction of High Street in Southampton.
The Town says the eastern portion of the project site, from Highway 21 to Victoria Street is now open to traffic and parking.
A base layer of asphalt is in place, with temporary lines.
The town says periodic parking restrictions may still happen as crews complete their work.
Meanwhile, work on the western portion of High Street continues.
