Today’s the last day of operations for the Beer Store in Wiarton.
It was announced back in May that the Beer Store would be closing 6 of its locations as of July 6, including the location on Berford Street in Wiarton.
The company said in a statement that the shuttering of the six locations was part of a modernization of operations to meet marketplace needs.
They added that while they don’t take the decision lightly, it was part of the commitment to business sustainability.
