Meaford is joining many other communities in marking the coronation of King Charles III.
The municipality plans to light its water tower in royal emerald green tomorrow to commemorate the occasion.
King Charles III will be crowned in a special ceremony in Westminster Abbey on Saturday, May 6. The procession for the coronation will begin just after 5 a.m. (Eastern Standard Time) Saturday, and the actual service is scheduled to commence at 6 a.m.
The Government of Canada will be holding a ceremony in honour of the King at 10 a.m. Saturday in Ottawa.
