It’s London for the Attack in the first round of the Ontario Hockey League playoffs.
James Petrovski scored in his third straight game and Landen Hookey notched the game-winner late in the third, as the Owen Sound Attack topped the Saginaw Spirit 6-4 in their regular season finale Sunday evening at the Dow Event Center.
With the win and Kitchener’s 5-1 loss to the London Knights, the Attack (33-28-6-1) clinched seventh in the Western Conference.
Owen Sound will face their Midwest rival London (45-21-2-0) in Round 1. The series is set to open on Friday at Budweiser Gardens.
Teddy Sawyer, Jackson Stewart, Thomas Chafe and Ethan Burroughs also scored for Owen Sound in the win over Saginaw.
Calem Mangone scored two, while Lincoln Moore and PJ Forgione added singles for the Spirit.
