The Ontario Government is doing to be providing over $13 million in funding to help renew and rehabilitate local infrastructure in the riding.
MPP Rick Byers announced in a media release that he understood how important the funds would be to local municipalities.
The funding will support economic growth and job creation in Bruce-Grey-Owen Sound.
The province will be providing a total of $400 million to municipalities all over Ontario in 2023.
The following municipalities will receive funding:
– Arran-Elderslie – $765,729
– Chatsworth – $319,230
– Georgian Bluffs – $417,455
– Grey Highlands – $753,175
– Hanover – $475,692
– Meaford – $1,145,272
– Northern Bruce Peninsula – $346,792
– Owen Sound – $2,507,541
– South Bruce Peninsula – $609,489
– Southgate – $507,792
– West Grey – $981,295
– County of Bruce – $1,333,134
– County of Grey – $3,042,024
The funding is being delivered through the Ontario Community Infrastructure Fund.
