This is the 100th anniversary of Fire Prevention Week.
Northern Bruce Peninsula Fire Chief Jack Burt was a special guest at Miller’s Home Hardware in Sauble Beach as part of the Kidde safety promotion during Thanksgiving Weekend.
He spoke to Fred Wallace & confirmed the primary theme for the week is preparation.
Firefighting professionals are working to educate everyone about simple but important actions they can take to keep themselves and those around them safe from home fires.
