Pop up pickleball is being offered again in Owen Sound’s River District.
The city says the pickleball courts at the city hall parking lot will be available for use at no charge.
The courts are open Monday to Friday from 5 p.m. to 8 p.m., and on Sunday’s from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m.
Pickleball will be available until Sept. 4 and washrooms will be open at the farmers’ market.
Rackets and balls will be given to players who do not have their own equipment.
The city says there is no advanced booking for the courts or equipment.
During these times, there will be no parking at the city hall parking lot, and participants as well as visitors to the river district will be asked to park at other municipal lots or use street parking.
There is complimentary on-street parking for up to two hours, and five hours for municipal lots.
