The Province is investing nearly $1 billion to build better broadband across Ontario.
Today Premier Doug Ford said it will help more communities get access to high-speed internet and reliable cell service.
“It means more economic development, more chances to grow a business, more opportunities for young people,” said Ford. “And we will continue to grow and expand these investments with our telecom and municipal partners and make every dollar count.”
Ford says that 12 per cent of Ontarians or over 1.4 million people still aren’t connected to high-speed internet despite our modern advances.
