Jake Crawford scored twice as part of a four-goal third period for the Owen Sound Attack, who beat the Kingston Frontenacs 7-3 in Ontario Hockey League action Sunday afternoon at the Harry Lumley Bayshore Community Centre.
Noah Nelson and Cole Zurawski also scored for the Attack in the third, helping break a 3-3 tie. Owen Sound (16-11-0-2) ended a three-game slide. Wesley Royston, Braedyn Rogers and Lenny Greenberg had the other goals, all during the second.
Tomas Pobezal, Robin Kuzma and Andrew Kuzma tallied for Kingston (10-13-2-2), which lost its sixth straight game.
Matthew Koprowski made 28 saves in the win, while Gavin Betts stopped 35 taking the loss. Owen Sound outshot Kingston 42-31 while going 1 for 3 on the power play; Kingston finished 0 for 3.
Next up for the Attack is back-t0-back home games against Erie Otters Friday and Saturday at the Harry Lumley Bayshore Community Centre.
